Hi, my name is Rachel. I’ve lived in Llanrumney most of my life and now I work locally. I became a governor when my father passed and I took over as a governor at Bryn Hafod for a few years, and then became a Community Governor for the Rainbow Federation. I enjoy being a governor as it is a great feeling when you see children grow and succeed. My favourite time to visit the schools is at Christmas time - I love to watch the concerts and have dinner with the children, as my own daughter is all grown up now.
