Hi, I'm Suzy Thompson and I am a teacher governor. I have been teaching at Glan yr Afon for 18 years and I am passionate about the school, its pupils, and the community that it is in. I am currently teaching a Year 5/6 class and also lead IT in the school. I am committed to providing the pupils at Glan yr Afon with the best possible learning experiences and opportunities, and excited about the direction that the school is going in with the new curriculum. I think my role on the governing body is important as I can help shape decisions that affect our learners and staff.
